Journal - Historic
Feset has published a journal "European Journal of Social Education" since 1991. The journal aims to promote discussion on ideas, research, results, training methods and socio-educational practices between FESET member schools' teachers, professionals and other contributors or responsible actors in the socio-educational field.
It is divided into four sections which are: training, target groups, social politics and book review.
Focus on training: Developments in theoretical approaches and structured training methods.
Target groups: Socio-educational practices, field experiences and methods concerning community education, activating to work or other educational actions with different groups (from early childhood to elderly; disabled; marginalised users; different handicaps).
Social politics: An informative and critical review on national or local politics for social education and social work, as well as discussion about politics of the Council of Europe and the European Union.
Book review: This section will present readers contributions on books of interest for teaching and / or relevant for practices.
Special issues devoted to a particular theme alternate ordinary issues. For reactions to published articles or suggestions, please contact :
